Jenso — Data-Retention Policy

This policy explains how long Jenso keeps your data and how deletion and offboarding work.
1. Customer Data (while your workspace is active)
Jenso keeps your Customer Data — parts, BOMs, routings, work orders, schedules, documents, and the records you create or import — for as long as your workspace is active, so the Service can operate for you. You can edit or remove individual records at any time through the product.
2. Audit and compliance records
Certain records exist to prove that required steps happened — for example, your acceptance of these agreements, and export-control attestations. Because they are a compliance trail (relevant to AS9100 and aerospace audit posture), these records are append-only and retained for at least three (3) years, even if the underlying operational data changes. They are frozen once written and are not editable in place.
3. Backups
Operational backups are retained on a rolling basis for disaster recovery and then aged out. A record you delete from the live Service may persist in a backup until that backup rotates out of the retention window.
4. Deletion and offboarding
When your workspace (tenant) is deleted:
operational records, so the workspace's data is not left orphaned.

- Your Customer Data tied to that workspace is removed — the deletion cascades from the workspace to its
- Compliance and audit records are handled per Section 2: they may be retained for the required window
- Backups age out on their normal rotation as described above.
You can request workspace deletion through your workspace administrator or by contacting us.
5. AI provider retention
Content sent to Jenso's AI provider for analysis is processed under a zero-data-retention posture — the provider does not retain it after returning a result. Jenso retains only the resulting draft/analysis in your workspace, subject to this policy.
6. Changes
We will publish any material change to this policy with its version identifier and ask you to review the current version before your next data import (acceptance is recorded per version).
