Jenso — Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what data Jenso LLC ("Jenso") holds when you use the Jenso Service, how we use it, and the commitments we make about it. It covers both account data (who you are) and Customer Data (the operational records your workspace creates or imports). It also covers subscriber data — the email address you give us if you sign up for our newsletter (see Section 11) — and resource-request data — the email address you give us to receive a free download (see Section 12). You can do either without a Jenso account at all, and neither one subscribes you to the other.

2. The data we hold

3. We do not sell your data

Jenso does not sell your Customer Data or your account data. This is our default and our commitment. We do not share your Customer Data with third parties for their own marketing or advertising.

Data monetization is an open question, never a default. If Jenso ever explores using data for product research or benchmarking beyond operating your Service, it would be opt-in only, anonymized and aggregated, and offered to you as a clear choice you must affirmatively accept — never a default, never a condition of using the Service, and never a sale of your identifiable Customer Data. Today, no such program exists and none is part of the Service.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to operate the Service for you: to authenticate you, store and display your Customer Data, generate the analyses and drafts you request, keep the Service secure and reliable, and support you. We do not use your Customer Data to train third-party models.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in the United States. We use reputable infrastructure providers under contractual data-protection obligations.

6. AI processing and provider posture

Jenso's AI features send the specific content you ask the Service to analyze to our AI provider under a zero-data-retention posture — the provider does not retain that content after returning a result, and does not use it to train its models. AI output is a draft or suggestion for a human to review; it never acts on your operations by itself.

7. Sharing within your workspace

Data you enter is visible to the members you invite to your workspace, according to their role. Workspace isolation (tenant separation) is enforced so members of one workspace cannot read another workspace's data.

8. Security

We enforce tenant isolation at the database layer, restrict administrative access, and record consent and sensitive changes to an audit trail. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service to fail closed — when in doubt, access is denied rather than granted.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep Customer Data for as long as your workspace is active. On deletion, your workspace's Customer Data is removed; certain audit and compliance records are retained only as described in the Data-Retention Policy. See that policy for retention windows and the offboarding process.

10. Your choices and contact

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us. For a workspace, account and deletion requests are handled through your workspace administrator. Questions or requests: legal@jenso.ai.

11. Marketing emails

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we hold your email address, the topics you picked, and the moment you consented — plus which page you signed up from, and the random tokens that make your unsubscribe link work. We do not record your IP address or any device fingerprint when you subscribe. We do not buy or rent mailing lists: you are on this list because you asked to be, and we keep the timestamp of that request as the record of it.

We send you only the topics you ticked. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe that needs no account and no sign-in — the link in the email is the only thing required. You can also write to legal@jenso.ai and we will take you off the list by hand. When you unsubscribe we mark your address as unsubscribed rather than deleting the record, so that your choice is something we retain rather than something we forget.

This section applies whether or not you use the Service. Subscribing does not create an account, and the list is separate from your workspace: deleting a workspace does not by itself unsubscribe an address, and unsubscribing does not affect the operational email the Service sends you about your own work.

12. Downloads and free resources

If you ask us to send you a free resource — a guide, a template, a toolkit — we hold your email address, which resource you asked for, the page you asked from, and when you asked. We keep it to know who is interested in this work, and so that we can reply if you write back. We do not record your IP address or any device fingerprint when you ask, and asking twice updates the existing record rather than creating a second one.

Asking for a resource does not subscribe you to anything. The download appears on the page as soon as you ask, so you are never waiting on an email to receive what you asked for. Our mailing list is a separate choice, made separately, and we do not add you to it because you took a download. If you want off this record entirely, write to legal@jenso.ai and we will delete it.

This section applies whether or not you use the Service. Asking for a resource does not create an account, and this record is separate from your workspace.

13. Changes

We will publish any material change to this policy with its version identifier and ask you to review the current version before your next data import (acceptance is recorded per version).
